Women learn practical skills that can be implemented with minimal capital investment and scaled over time. The program emphasizes both traditional and modern income-generating activities, helping women leverage their existing knowledge while embracing new opportunities.

Key Activities

Training includes poultry farming for eggs and meat production, beekeeping and honey production, handicraft development and marketing, digital literacy and mobile technology for agriculture, and skills diversification strategies. Women receive starter kits and ongoing mentorship to establish their enterprises. Technology training helps women access market information, weather forecasts, and digital payment systems, connecting them to broader economic opportunities.

Expected Outcomes

Women develop multiple income streams that provide financial stability throughout the year. The program has achieved remarkable success with participants averaging 3.2 income streams per household, 75% technology adoption rate, and over 4,200 women trained in new skills. Diversified livelihoods reduce vulnerability to climate shocks, market fluctuations, and seasonal variations, creating more resilient and prosperous rural communities.
